Janelle Mundine

Dorothy Janelle Mundine — known professionally as Jan Mundine — is dedicated to expanding access to higher education across the Alamo Colleges District. She currently serves as Manager of Donor Engagement and Stewardship at the Alamo Colleges Foundation, bringing expertise in advancement, external relations, and donor stewardship within higher education.

Her career in the Alamo Colleges ecosystem began as an Executive Assistant before she transitioned into stewardship work. Prior to her current role, she served as a Stewardship Coordinator at Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where she developed applied knowledge of donor engagement strategies within academic institutions.

Janelle holds a Master's degree from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, a Bachelor of Arts from Our Lady of the Lake University, and an Associate of Arts from San Antonio College — an educational journey that reflects her deep roots in San Antonio's own higher education landscape.

Well connected across the city's civic and philanthropic communities, colleagues have described her as a "mover and shaker and recognized her for partnership-driven work that creates meaningful opportunities for students. She is an active presence at civic events across San Antonio and maintains strong ties to the broader education and workforce development community.
